Erica Goos, LMHC & Clincial Supervisor, Professional Certified Coach & Coach Supervisor
I’m Erica Goos and for the past 25 years have been helping humans be better humans to themselves and others by fostering authenticity, compassion, and purpose through transformation: either as an LMHC, or as a leadership development coach, also as a clinical supervisor and coach supervisor.
My many identities deeply influence how I show up as therapist and clinical supervisor. I’m a 1.5 generation Korean American, which means my core values are rooted in the experiences of growing up in an immigrant family. I’m also a wife in a bi-racial marriage and a mother of two daughters-one biological and one internationally adopted. These lived experiences and identities are integrated into how I partner with my clients and supervisees. I invite you to bring all parts of who you are into this relationship.
I consider it a tremendous honor to partner with my clients in the deeply transformational process of therapy and clinical supervision. I work with individuals, couples, “helpers”: leaders, coaches, therapists, those who care for others. I love working with self-identity formation specifically around race, culture, and other aspects of identities and lived experiences, as well as career and life transitions, grief & loss, relationship issues, anxiety & depression.
As a clinical supervisor, I believe that supervision is a collaborative and reflective space to help support therapists to grow and develop in their knowledge and capacity to improve as clinicians and as a human being. I especially love supporting therapists of color.
