Akiko Sakai-Kinney, Individual and Couples Counseling
The word, soul, has disappeared from the clinical/ mental health language, yet much of our sufferings come from our disconnect from the wholeness we seek, and can find it only in our soul. The soul is where the outer and inner world meet. I will guide and accompany your soul journey to find and explore your undiscovered self through which you will restore your authenticity. Healing can come from within then. My therapeutic approach is based on Jungian psychoanalytic depth psychology.
In relationships, we learn our boundaries. It is integral to gain self -knowledge in the context of each relationship. Then we need to learn to communicate our feelings and needs in the way we can hear ourselves and others empathically. I will help you understand the unconscious dynamics that might be playing out in your relationships, and teach you practical skills of empathic communication to restore connection.
