Relationship Improvement and reconstruction
Bringing hope and renewal to the weary and broken-hearted
Sometimes we find ourselves at a crossroad in life where a clear direction is not evident. In these moments we often need someone to come alongside and walk with us on our journey. As a Narrative Therapist, I will listen to your story without judgment. I will walk with you through a life transition that may include feelings of worry, stress, anxiety, fear, anger, and grief. I will help you use your faith as a resource to move you toward a sense of peace.
Therapeutic Philosophy
Jesus listened to people’s stories, and He spoke in stories. As a Narrative therapist, I believe that each of us has a unique story. Our stories often reflect what we have come to believe about ourselves because of our experience with our family of origin and the world at large. Often these beliefs keep us in bondage and prevent us from experiencing the life that God intends for us. I believe that the problems we struggle with, are external to us, and not who we are, and therefore can be overcome. I help my clients overcome their challenges by focusing on their strengths and helping them write new stories to live their lives out of.
