Description:
In hosting this workshop we, at All Seasons Counseling & Spiritual Direction, seek to provide participants with the opportunity to process their feelings and concerns around the recent Anti-Asian sentiment, to help the participants prepare mentally, emotionally, spiritually, and physically, a personal response to witnessing or being a victim to anti-Asian sentiment, and to encourage ways to be proactive to help minimize the effect of anti-Asian sentiment on themselves personally, as well as within the community.
Workshop Leader:
Chris Cole. Narrative Therapist. Clinical Supervisor. Certified Grief Counselor. Private Christian Counseling practice since 2008, a partner counselor with All Seasons. *see full bio, www.allseasonscounseling.org/team.html#chris.
Recommendation from Cornerstone pastoral staff:
Previous workshop hosted by Cornerstone “Depression and Suicide” led by Chris Cole
“Chris provided incisive insight to the complex issue of depression and suicide. I found her approach to be tremendously helpful as she integrated her awareness of cultural, societal, and theological issues. Her voice is much needed to speak to the current concerns facing the Asian community.” ~Pastor Joe Yoshihara, Cornerstone Christian Fellowship
